I suppose it's about time I write up a journal entry to sum up where I am creatively, huh?
I'm very happy with my Gallery to this point. I find myself very proud of my work, and to be honest, humbled by how well specific works have done, namely "Of Dreams and Love". What started out as a simple gift to my fiancée

has easily become my most popular coloring job so far, even going so far as being added to the fantastic group

. For those of you out there who loved "Dreams" and my other
Sailor Moon work, "Otaku Heaven", you should be happy to know I've been convinced to return to the series once again. My next work will, in fact, be from
Sailor Moon, and you all have my fiancée to thank again (she continues to maintain the belief that my
SM works are, by nature, more popular...this will certainly help in either proving or dis-proving that theory!). Beyond that, I have a piece I've been slowly but steadily working on for the better part of almost six months. This one will be my first non-anime-style coloring job, and will also be my first attempt at a more "real" look regarding shading/highlighting. It's still another month away, give or take, but I'm
extremely pleased with its progress to this point, and I think you'll all love it!
That brings up another excellent point I'd like to make: my progress as an "artist". So far, I've only added color, shading, and highlights to various other people's work. To be honest, I can't ever see my artistic ability exceeding that particular skill set. I really don't have the "it" factor that allows people to make amazing line-art like the kind I've used so far, so I'll likely keep to what I do best: coloring. I realize that some of my work may be sub-par, and that some things may not have worked quite like I envisioned. That's all part of the journey of being an "artist", though, and I like to think that every work I release is a little better than the one before it. Any
constructive feedback is always welcome, and I humbly ask for your patience as I work my way towards coloring perfection!
Other than that? I really have no idea where I'm going! If you have something you'd like me to color, I'd be more than happy to add it to the queue, but I can't guarantee when it would be completed; I'm also a radio host on the
Ranger Radio Network [link] , and that comes first. Regardless, I'm willing to entertain any offers in regards to coloring.
Well, that about sums it up. So, until I feel like posting another entry: stay optimistic!
Thanks so much for the
And you have quite an awesome gallery there.

It isn't enough to love someone when they're on their on the top of the mountain – you have to love them when they fall all the way to the bottom.
I appreciate your comment and that you enjoyed the coloring I did. However, I disagree with your assessment of my work on "Of Dreams and Love". While it is true that, in the anime, the inside of Tuxedo Mask's cape is red, that does not necessarily mean that the inside of his cape should be red, especially here. It is completely up to my discretion which colors I use, and I found the blue I used to be far more visually appealing than the red used in the TV Asahi produced series. As such, it is very unlikely I will return to this piece. Again, thank you for your compliments and comments.
